Different tokens can use the same name, ticker and image. A token may also have native and bridged versions across networks. A research claim without an exact asset identifier can accidentally combine unrelated markets or direct a reader to an imitation.
Record a complete identity
For a token study, include the network and contract or mint address. Keep the original source used to authenticate that identifier. For a pool study, identify the pool separately from the token. For a transfer, distinguish the user's account from a token account or a programme.
A copied logo provides no evidence of issuance. An explorer label can be useful but may come from an issuer submission or a third-party database. Identify where the label originated before relying on it for attribution.
MASTR's ANSEM and TRUMP records begin with exact Solana mints. That prevents research about a named token from silently becoming an accusation about every person or platform sharing the same name.
