I’m seeing garbage news trending again from low-effort US accounts about EU regulations;
Here are the facts:
· The EU is introducing a 10 000 EUR cash limit for commercial transactions
· This is not a full cash ban
· The 2027 AML rules add KYC for regulated crypto service providers
· But there is NO rule requiring ID for every single #Bitcoin or #Crypto transaction

EU AMLR / crypto rules: https://t.co/1Ebtq9XwHx
What this means in reality:
· If you rely on CEXs, you’ll face strict KYC in 2027 (nothing new)
· If you use DEXs + self-custody, there is still no ID check, as long as you don’t on/off-ramp through regulated entities
· Peer-to-peer transfers remain technically unrestricted
Bottom line: “EU bans cash + ID for EVERY Bitcoin tx” is simply false.
Less panic, more facts.
Just stay decentralised. Like it was meant to be.
And to the slop accounts out there and X that pushes fake news two-thirds of the time. Fuck you.
