You were warned what this was.
You saw the fraud, the grift, the authoritarian instincts, the contempt for facts, the endless manipulation, and still many of you treated it like a game because you thought it might benefit your bags, your taxes, or your tribe for 5 minutes.
You were more worried about men dressing differently, about people who accepted that, and about the country of endless exaggeration somehow falling short, than you were about the history of this autocrat and what already happened during his first term.
That is the moral failure at the center of all this.
You thought short term self interest, submission to xenophobia, and ignorance were intelligence. They were not. They were cowardice, vanity, and betrayal.
Crypto was supposed to be about reducing dependence on broken power structures.
Yet too many of you lined up behind one of the most openly shameless power grabs in modern politics and then acted surprised when the rot spread far beyond markets.
First you helped poison the culture around crypto. Then you helped normalize something far worse.
History is not kind to people who see authoritarianism, corruption, and mass deception and decide to collaborate because they think they might profit from the chaos.
That is the truth.
