Many assets, one contract

ERC-1155 supports multiple token IDs in a single contract, including fungible and non-fungible forms. The standard includes transfers of individual IDs and batch transfers. A wallet's gallery is a presentation of those balances, not the definition of the approval's scope.

The operator permission

setApprovalForAll authorises an operator for the owner's tokens managed by that contract. A page advertising a transaction involving one item can ask for this wider permission. The visible artwork does not limit which IDs the operator can transfer under the approved authority.

What to preserve

Save the chain, token contract, operator address, approval value and transaction hash. Then compare the requested permission with the intended operation. Separate the collection's legitimate operator from a lookalike spender supplied by a counterfeit marketplace. If an approval is no longer needed, revoking it changes future operator authority but cannot reverse transfers already completed.
