The $ASTEROID and $RAVE mess, and nearly everything that supposedly reached serious market cap territory since around January 2025, keeps pointing to the same rotten conclusion: almost nothing in this space becomes large without being contaminated first.

The deeper you look, the less it has to do with quality, innovation, or legitimacy. It is insider positioning, narrative engineering, paid noise, artificial conviction, recycled hype, and retail being processed as exit liquidity.

Much of the time it is simply decay wrapped in better marketing.

And the supply distribution?
Again and again you find the same pattern: deployer-linked or insider-linked concentration so extreme that the entire idea of a fair market becomes a joke.

With $RAVE, even security reporting flagged that the team reportedly controlled 95.3% of the supply.

With names like $ASTEROID, the pattern does not look much cleaner either. When supply sits in a tiny cluster of wallets instead of being meaningfully distributed, price action stops being discovery and starts looking like controlled theatre.

That is why I still lean toward L1 when it comes to real conviction. Real infrastructure. Real technology. Real long term relevance.

And on L2, the only things worth serious attention are projects and tokens that actually offer something tangible: real products, real mobile apps, real use cases, and teams that have tried to build something legitimate from day 1 instead of disguising extraction as innovation.

Those are the few that deserve to win.

The rest is mostly theatre with a market cap attached.

And once again,
I am becoming deeply convinced that there is very little point in following things that are already too big, with names behind them that are already too powerful.

Because the same pattern remains.

#Trump and his insiders, #Binance and its tentacles stretching across the industry, and the broader machinery around them will continue to do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want.

I genuinely believe we are at a low point.

And I am not talking about market caps.

I am talking about the condition of the space itself.

Not the price level.

The moral level.
