But this article is pure nonsense and already has half a million impressions.
It connects contacts and investments of wealthy people with unproven system theories. There is no solid evidence for any of it.
No evidence that Epstein or his network controlled the development of Bitcoin.
No evidence that Bitcoin developers were influenced in their technical decisions.
No evidence of a coordinated suppression of other chains by a central network.
No evidence that SEC actions such as the case against Ripple Labs are connected to this.
No evidence for any orchestrated capture architecture.
Of course, there are nuances where one could agree. But not like that.
Further claims without evidence:
That Epstein influenced technical decisions of Bitcoin developers.
That the MIT Media Lab controlled the Bitcoin roadmap.
That Blockstream was meant to deliberately fight competing chains.
That narratives in the crypto space were centrally coordinated.
That regulators like the SEC acted from within this environment in the Ripple Labs case.
That there was a planned infrastructure capture strategy.
That Bitcoin was intentionally steered into an institutional direction.
I am deeply saddened by many things right now, but seeing this kind of pointless nonsense being celebrated makes me seriously question this space.
