My reach has clearly become much more limited, yet the engagement rate among the people who still see my work remains remarkably high.
I could focus only on the frustration of reaching fewer people, but I increasingly see something positive in it.
If a smaller audience continues to read carefully, respond thoughtfully and share the work, then I must be doing something right for the people who are genuinely interested.
