Imagine this money going into real projects and startups in Web3 that are actually building something useful, shipping something, solving something, or doing anything good for this space.
Imagine people would stop believing every obvious fucking lie and use the damn brain nature gave them, although for some of them it apparently barely does more than keep the breathing process alive.
But no. This rotten gambling space keeps choosing the same shit over and over again, then acts shocked when it gets rugged, dumped on, farmed, botted, manipulated, and turned into exit liquidity for the same little groups wearing different profile pictures.
Imagine what this space could be with DePIN, real infrastructure, useful apps, better rails, better ownership models, better funding systems, actual public goods, and all the possibilities Web3 was supposed to unlock.
The tools are there. The teams are there. Good accounts are there. Builders are there. People with actual skill are there.
But the fucking mass behaviour here is still trained around consuming, gambling, extracting, chasing, bootlicking, and handing attention to the dumbest KOL who probably never built anything more complicated than a Telegram call group and might struggle to assemble a cardboard box without a paid shill thread explaining the steps to him.
This space could fund serious work.
Instead it keeps funding manipulation, fake hype, insider games, recycled trash, and people whose only product is convincing retail that the next obvious liquidity trap is somehow culture.
And the worst fucking part is that it is not even hidden anymore.
It is extraction in plain sight.
Everyone sees the same wallets, the same groups, the same coordinated pushes, the same fake conviction, the same “community” bullshit, and somehow the crowd still lines up to be milked again.
At some point, people have to stop pretending they are early and start admitting they are just being farmed by people who understand their greed better than they understand the market.
Nobody wants it. Nobody actually wants a better Web3.
Almost nobody supports the people who are genuinely working their ass off, building, warning, investigating, shipping, documenting, protecting retail, or trying to make this space less of a fucking extraction machine.
But the same people who already made money because they had followers, access, timing, insider networks, paid groups, or enough reach to move garbage still get more attention, more money, more support, more bootlicking, and more free marketing shoved up their ass.
That is the sickness of this space.
It does not reward work. It rewards noise.
