I have listed a few things that annoy me, or have annoyed me, about Web3 and crypto.

Add yours or tell me what you think:

- Bots.
- Hype
- MEV bots.
- People who are in crypto but vote for oligarchs and autocrats or defend ketamine-addicted trillionaires.
- AI-generated comments.
- Influencers and KOLs.
- Scammers.
- Marketing people.
- BitMart listing agents.
- People spamming Telegram chats because they want to become community moderators.
- Influencers and KOLs.
- People trying to sell you AMAs nobody asked for.
- Influencers and KOLs.
- LARPers.
- Wealth flexers.
- People with absolutely no idea what they are talking about.
- People who only buy a project once it is already surrounded by hype.
- People who never invest in infrastructure but complain that nobody is building anything useful.
- Fake builders who launch a token before building anything.
- Paid shills pretending their posts are organic.
- Founders calling every legitimate question “FUD.”
- Projects buying followers, engagement and manufactured credibility.
- Telegram callers dumping on the people following their calls.
- People posting screenshots of one winning trade while hiding 30 losses.
- Influencers and KOLs.
- People calling gambling “conviction.”
- Referral farmers pretending they are educators.
- Projects announcing meaningless partnerships with companies nobody has ever heard of.
- People who think a badge, a large following or a rented car makes them credible.
- Anonymous insiders who somehow always arrive before the announcement.
- People demanding transparency from everyone except the projects they hold.
- Founders preaching decentralisation while controlling every wallet, decision and revenue stream.
- People who call themselves researchers after reading 2 tweets and checking Dexscreener.
- Fake whistleblowers who only expose projects after they stop paying them.
- Accounts that suddenly become “long-term believers” after receiving an allocation.
- People who delete their shills after the token collapses.
- Communities that attack critics instead of asking their founders for answers.
- Founders who blame market conditions for problems caused by their own incompetence.
- People who think token price is proof that a product works.
- People who call every recycled idea “revolutionary.”
- Projects with 20 ambassadors, 12 advisors and no users.
- People farming engagement under scam warnings without even reading them.
- Influencers and KOLs.
- People defending obvious scams because they are “friends with the team.”
- People who claim to care about privacy while begging billionaires to control every platform they use.
- Anti-establishment accounts worshipping the richest and most powerful people on the planet.
- People who entered crypto for freedom and ended up cheering for surveillance, censorship and authoritarianism.
- Projects that spend more on marketing than development.
- Marketing teams describing basic features as technological revolutions.
- Founders who disappear for months and return only when the market pumps.
- People using “community” as another word for exit liquidity.
- People selling access to information that was already public.
- People pretending they predicted something after it already happened.
- Accounts posting fake PnL screenshots to sell paid groups.
- People who mistake aggression for intelligence and follower count for competence.

- And, of course, influencers and KOLs.

I’ll make another list of the things I like about Web3 and crypto afterwards.
