1. Coldcard released new firmware after more than $114 million was stolen from Bitcoin wallets through a catastrophic seed generation flaw.
The update adds stronger transaction checks, data isolation and mandatory physical entropy through keystrokes, dice rolls or coin flips. Most importantly, installing the update does not repair a seed created with vulnerable firmware.
Those funds remain exposed until the owner generates a new seed and migrates everything.

2. MANTRA halted its entire blockchain following a security incident. Every transaction, deposit and withdrawal was frozen, while the team initially had neither a confirmed root cause nor a timeline for restoring the network.
The token dropped as much as 18%. For an industry endlessly selling “decentralised” real world asset infrastructure, a supposedly independent blockchain that can be switched off and financially trap every user deserves considerably more scrutiny.
3. TRM Labs reported that AI adoption in crypto crime increased by 40% within 1 year.
AI use in scams has already reached what TRM classifies as a mature stage, while reported crypto fraud involving deepfakes and AI chatbots has increased by as much as 13 times since 2022.
The industry keeps promoting AI agents, automated trading and vibe coded financial products while criminals are adopting the same technology faster and with fewer restraints.
The people warning about these risks and proactively trying to help are still being ignored.
These developments affect wallet security, blockchain availability, AI driven fraud and the actual structure behind the current market rally.
Yet most of the timeline remains busy shilling whatever already pumped.
