  1. The FOMO example

For one token at one price, current position value equals token balance multiplied by the current price. Sorting a table by value therefore also sorts it by balance. Adjacent rows are likely to look similar even if the owners entered at very different times and prices.

The FOMO example

MASTR's FOMO/MEME dossier found a relatively narrow range of displayed balances alongside a roughly 250-fold range in displayed average-entry market capitalisation. The similarity that made the screenshot visually persuasive did not support the accusation that everyone bought on the same terms.

Before inferring coordination, identify what the columns mean and whether they show initial buys, current holdings, net positions or estimated average entry. Rounded values can hide further differences. Transfers and partial sales also change the meaning of a current balance.

A screenshot can provide a lead or help match a known account. Attribution requires additional evidence. Preserve the full image and its timestamp; cropping away headings or sorting controls can change the apparent meaning. Read the case study for the actual finding and its limits.
