I am genuinely stunned by how much some casinos and Web3 companies are willing to pay KOLs whose credibility is roughly equal to a pile of shit.

What makes it even more absurd is that serious money is not stupid enough to buy, deposit or use a platform simply because some loud idiot posted a paid endorsement.

The only people these shills reliably reach are the same shrinking group of gamblers, bag chasers and desperate retail users who still mistake follower counts for authority.

So these companies are not buying trust. They are burning money on recycled audiences, fake engagement and promoters with a documented history of dumping on their own followers.

They pay scammers to advertise products that are supposedly legitimate?

In most cases, that tells you more about the company than the KOL.

A serious business does not need to rent credibility from people who have none.

When a project is willing to associate its name with serial shillers, dishonest promoters and obvious grifters, the marketing strategy is often the first warning that the product itself is just as rotten.
