  1. Read the asset, not just the balance

Sui represents application state using objects with identities and ownership rules. Objects may be owned by addresses or other objects, shared or immutable. Understanding the ownership mode helps explain who can interact with a resource and how transactions affect it.

Read the asset, not just the balance

A displayed token or collectible belongs to a particular type and package. Copying a name or logo is easier than reproducing the authentic issuer's identity. Review the application package, upgrade arrangements and permissions involved in an action.

A wallet interface may summarise a complex transaction. The useful question is which objects, assets and authorities change if it succeeds. A label such as claim or verify does not determine those effects.

Claims about programming-language safety should be scoped to the properties actually enforced. Economic design, phishing, compromised websites and misleading promotion remain separate problems. See signing intent and token identity.
