Why does an account with 50k+ active followers need to make money by scamming and shilling shitcoins and why don’t they have any real, legitimate income sources?
The truth is, most of these accounts are outcasts, fringe figures of Web3 who’ve never built anything real in this space, except their own scam.
They feed on attention and newbies because that’s the only currency they can still earn.
They were just early enough to get followers easily, not skilled enough to deserve them.
They imitate success, copy conviction, and weaponize trust, because they have no product, no mission, no vision.
Now ask yourself again, would you really buy a shilled token from a big account that has contributed nothing to this space, knowing they only ever extracted value from it?
In the end, they aren’t builders of Web3, they’re the main reason L2 keeps burning and bleeding.
These scammers are nothing more than sidelined garbage.
