Reading this, I have to admit that I am genuinely and positively surprised.
If I did not know better, I might honestly believe that Vitalik Buterin has been reading my tweets.
Because this statement reflects many of the things I have been repeating and preaching for a long time.
What stands out here is not just technical progress, but the clarity of intent behind it.
This is not about chasing the next narrative, not about tokenized dollars, political memecoins, or artificially filling blockspace to revive price driven slogans.
It is about the core mission I keep coming back to again and again: building a world computer that serves as fundamental infrastructure for a more free and open internet and push damn decentralisation. Away from web2.
Decentralized applications that do not break when companies disappear.
Systems that keep running even if major centralized services fail or get compromised.
Applications that pass the walkaway test and do not rely on trust in institutions, corporations, or political stability.
Privacy by design, resilience by default, and independence from centralized gatekeepers.
These are among the principles I keep emphasizing.
This is also important to state clearly: this is neither an $ETH shill nor a glorification of Vitalik as a person.
I am generally critical of faces behind chains and I consider personality driven ecosystems risky.
This is simply me acknowledging something positive when it is said in the crypto space, especially on X, where that has become rare.
When the focus returns to fundamentals instead of noise, hype, and extraction, it deserves to be pointed out.
