CT is back!!

Full of information, smart discussions, and nice people.

I just can’t get enough of this overflowing intelligence and collective wisdom.

Seriously:

These accounts are almost never isolated cases.

Research consistently shows that what looks like random low quality posting is often the result of coordinated inauthentic behavior.

Loosely organized networks amplify each other through synchronized timing, repetitive narratives, and mutual engagement.

On its own, each post looks harmless. At scale, the pattern becomes obvious.

This coordination is difficult to prove post by post. It only becomes visible when you look at interaction graphs, timing clusters, and content overlap.

Identical tickers, identical framing, identical moments. That is exactly how coordination is detected in academic network or our analysis.

Crypto focused social media is especially vulnerable to this.

Multiple studies document high bot density, engagement farming, and coordinated amplification tied to token promotion, pump narratives, and scam distribution.

While InfoFi mechanics, ranking systems like Kaito, and derivative narratives contributed to visibility, the strongest driver is simple and well documented: monetization.

When engagement is directly converted into payouts, behavior adapts. Studies on monetized platforms show a clear increase in repetitive, low effort, and misleading content once financial incentives are introduced.

It is incentive aligned behavior.

Systems shape outcomes.

The biggest problem is probably the people who believe that engaging with those accounts actually achieves anything.

They most likely don’t even read what you write.

What I think and say out loud: Some people are celebrating the Kaito ban as a renaissance for CT, but that’s a joke and also a bit short-sighted.

Banning Kaito and yappers will help a bit, but as long as accounts pushing scam shills or farming X payouts with 3–4 sentences a day keep getting massive impressions and likes, the overall quality won’t improve much.

Lack of moderation and even payouts for slop are still continuing.

Those people didn’t disappear overnight and will probably fight even harder to push for payout.
