I do not constantly post my gains, flex my wallet, recycle insider narratives, or shill every new trending shitcoin like a child showing off candy in the schoolyard.
yeah yeah got it, my opinion reflects the minority here, and the moment I say something that makes certain people uncomfortable, or points too clearly at behaviour they recognise in themselves, the support disappears.
In the end, most people protect their own position, their circle, and their wallet before they protect any principle they publicly claim to have.
Culture becomes intellectually poor when it only reflects the interests of the loudest and most powerful side.
In modern (US-) Epstein capitalism, just like in almost every other endlessly corrupted “ism”, the people with the strongest following and the most visible support are usually the ones who already have the most influence, the best connections, the largest distribution, and the least need for even more amplification.
That is exactly why official accounts, large KOLs, and ecosystem leaders should be more careful about what they normalise.
When the same small circle is constantly promoted, defended, reposted, and rewarded, it stops being culture and starts becoming controlled distribution.
I notice exactly which KOLs unfollow me, who suddenly stops appearing in my replies, who keeps watching but no longer interacts, and who only supports me as long as my criticism stays far away from their own bags, friends, or business model.
I am not trying to criticise everyone else while pretending I am exempt.
Damn, I have probably made plenty of mistakes myself. You will probably find them across all of the thousands of my tweets. That is human, and there should always be room for people to be wrong, learn, and change their position.
The problem begins when being wrong becomes a pattern, when the same people repeatedly push harmful, misleading, or obviously questionable things without reflection, accountability, or any visible change in behaviour.
Maybe that makes me less useful to people who only measure value through price, reach, and liquidity.
Fine. I would still rather be inconvenient than become another account that mistakes access for intelligence and proximity to money for credibility.
At the same time, it is disappointing to realise that you belong to a small minority.
People applaud everything you say and everything you do until the moment supporting it requires them to show some courage, risk access, upset a useful contact, or stand against something that might benefit them financially.
Principles are apparently popular only while they remain free.
The last 4 years have been almost nothing but disappointment in that regard.
There are still many good people here, and some of them show up every single day, but they remain the minority while the same shallow incentives, compromised personalities, and manufactured narratives continue to dominate the space.
I also understand that long texts, complicated arguments, basic democratic awareness, and a functioning sense of honour are about as common here as accountability among certain founders.
That probably explains a lot.
