To break ECDSA you would need roughly:
• about 2 300 logical qubits
• about 10¹² to 10¹³ quantum operations
• with error correction: several million to hundreds of millions of physical qubits
Current reality:
• IBM, Google, IonQ, Alibaba: 100–400 noisy qubits
• error rates far too high
• coherence times far too short
→ We are at least four orders of magnitude below what’s needed.
