Tools, evidence handling and the questions a strong claim must survive.
A useful investigation states what was checked, how the observation was obtained and what it cannot establish. MASTR’s toolkit describes the services used for different tasks; the scanner and wallet-attribution guides explain why an attractive visualisation does not replace the underlying records. Labels are leads. A connection between addresses still needs interpretation.
Corrections are part of the record. Several posts here challenge a dramatic headline by narrowing it to the actual question: index membership rather than a stock-market ban, a proposed law rather than a measured reduction in manipulation, or a market move rather than proof of an exchange’s intent. Reading these alongside the original claims makes the method visible.
The stolen-funds note draws another important boundary. Tracing a transaction is not the same as recovering assets. Recovery can depend on intermediaries, legal process, the availability of funds and facts outside a public ledger. Keep the evidence, the service being offered and the expected outcome separate.

Wallet bubbles without context: MASTR’s criticism. Dated original source, with context and links.
When an American CEO (here Dario Amodei, Anthropic) is willing to warn the world about the very technology his company is banking on to bring in billions, you start to wonder how close to midnight we really are.
A small update: an average of 7 - 8 days has now passed since I privately submitted 44 proven and fully documented security findings across 5 projects:

No names but: -A wallet-connected launch platform, -a Solana gaming/trading app, -2 perpetuals DEX, -a crypto exchange -....and an on-chain order-book protocol.
Markets are often described as machines for discovering truth, although what they actually discover is the price people will pay under a particular distribution of information, incentives and fear.
Exchange inflows are not evidence of manipulation by themselves. Dated original source, with context and links.
Education is the most valuable asset a person can build because it changes the instrument through which every other asset is understood: the mind itself.
Security, research and honest information have almost no economic value in crypto because they require the one thing this industry despises more than regulation: sustained attention.
I am probably one of the most openly pro-crypto people you will find, but being pro-crypto does not require pretending that this industry is professionally mature.

The problem is that many traders treat a colourful cluster or a green security score as the result of an investigation, when it is merely the starting point.
After 2.5 years in Web3, I increasingly feel that very few people still care about the same things I do.

The strongest opportunity often appears when an on-chain flow reaches a centralised exchange, casino, payment processor or another custodial service.
To the few newbies here: this is neither generally considered cool, nor was it normal until a few years ago.

I tried to rank the major chains using a proxy model instead of pretending there is one perfect public dashboard for X mentions, web reports, on-chain activity, TVL and trading noise combined.

Idiots need to stop turning half understood headlines into propaganda when they clearly do not understand the rules they are screaming about.
Crypto was never supposed to be only about charts, market caps, influencer screenshots, exchange listings, and the next group of insiders dumping on retail.
Lately, it has become genuinely difficult for me to produce crypto content that still feels meaningful.
Anyone claiming otherwise forgets one fundamental truth. The real problem is not the code, the blockchain, or the smart contracts. The real problem is the people behind them.
I have never experienced it as this difficult to navigate this app without being flooded by fake news and AI generated noise.
We are living through a peculiar fracture in modern society. Information has never been more abundant, yet shared reality has never been more fragile.
Do not get me wrong. If there were truly dirty hands behind the development of Bitcoin and there were evidence for it, I would say it.
A lot of it is noise dressed up as certainty. Threads are going viral that mix real documents, half understood technical facts, and large speculative leaps that do not hold up under scrutiny.

You know I am at the VERY front when it comes to criticizing Binance, but right now it is turning into a farce because many accounts are just parroting each other.
