Memecoin culture is dead.
It has died again and again, through the market, through self-destruction, and now again because these are not even memes anymore.
They are tokens named after scam KOLs, pushed by their friends, sold as “culture”, and of course the supply is controlled.
By the way, when they try to tell you that 65% sitting in 1 wallet is somehow bullish, ask them 1 simple thing: why do they not burn it and post the tx right here instead of controlling the supply with your money underneath it?
I like some memecoins. I even still hold some at a loss, purely out of respect. For the culture.
That is my own stupid decision.
But the culture is dead now at the latest.
KOL shitcoins are not memes.
They are not culture.
They have no reason to exist.
Not because they lack utility, but because they glorify exactly what ruined this space in the first place: insider games, social extraction, fake community, controlled supply and retail being trained to celebrate its own slaughter.
I do not give FA. I give warnings, personal opinions and signals, backed as much as possible with examples, data and facts.
But I will say 1 thing clearly: many people here are victims of their own stupidity.
I would never in my life support this mafia of people who already have more money than probably all their followers combined, while using those same followers as liquidity, applause and exit doors.
I still cannot believe what a Wild West this place has become.
The moralists are always treated as the boring ones, while the guy who pulls the rug from under your feet, sets it on fire and laughs while you burn somehow gets called a builder, a genius or “good for the culture.”
But this is not about moral purity.
This is about the future of this industry.
And if the future is just rich insiders launching supply-controlled KOL shitcoins into their own followers, then we should stop pretending we are building anything different from the same rotten casino we claimed to escape.
It's worse.
Ffs.
