Some of the most interesting quotes from traders and market legends I’ve collected over the years.

Not because every one of them is universally right, but because together they say a lot about what trading actually comes down to: risk, patience, psychology, discipline and surviving your own stupidity.

My favourites are 2, 3, 9, 16, 23 and 24.

What about yours?

The older I get, the more interesting it is that almost none of the great traders talk about constantly finding the next trade.

They talk about waiting.
Cutting losses.
Protecting capital.
Controlling size.
Accepting that they will be wrong. Knowing when they have no edge. Staying alive long enough for the exceptional opportunities to matter.

Quite a contrast to modern Crypto Twitter, where half the industry seems to believe trading means finding 40 new tokens before breakfast.
