Why I Value the Original Vision of Crypto and the Possibilities That Can Emerge From It:
What draws me to the original idea of crypto is not speculation or short term profit, but systems design.
Crypto began as a structural answer to long standing inefficiencies in how societies coordinate trust, value, and authority. Traditional financial and institutional systems are built on hierarchy, opacity, and permission.
Crypto proposed an alternative based on decentralization, transparency, and deterministic rules.
In legacy systems, trust is delegated. It is outsourced to institutions, regulators, and intermediaries that require constant oversight and enforcement. Crypto internalizes trust. It embeds it into cryptography, consensus, and open verification.
