Even some people I genuinely like have started posting complete bullshit because apparently that is what the algorithm rewards now.
I feel like building something. More. Bigger.
Maybe I should launch a GoFundMe, or, as a last resort, an OnlyFans with foot pics and everything, and use the money to build the intelligent part of CT a way out of this landfill.
At least I would be prostituting myself for a decent cause, rather than doing what 99% of the accounts here do and selling themselves just to squeeze a few dollars out of their followers.
When I took over this account, I seriously underestimated how unwilling people would be to support an independent and neutral voice.
My plan was simple: use the donations sent to mastr.sol to improve the work, investigate more, deliver more and build things that could actually move this space forward. Real infra.
And no, I do not mean another ridiculous tool claiming it can magically warn people before every rug.
Such a tool cannot exist. Scams adapt, teams lie, contracts change, insiders hide behind fresh wallets and risk cannot be reduced to a shiny green score.
Ironically, the human factor is more important in Web3 than ever.
That is exactly why nothing will replace our in-app token checks and direct chats with experienced on-chain sleuths.
The mobile apps will continue to receive serious development, and there are several surprises waiting for both existing and future users.
Tangible work. Real work. Sweat, time and effort. For the culture.
As for everything beyond that, I have the ideas, the roadmap, the motivation and some genuinely great followers.
But $400 in donations over 2 years does not finance serious research, development or infrastructure. So the idea of investing heavily to push this space forward will probably be buried, while I continue taking smaller steps with the resources I actually have.
At this point, I would not advise anyone to invest their own money into building something useful here unless they are already on the hype side of the industry and have the connections, funding and distribution required to survive or extract.
But that system rarely produces meaningful progress.
It produces more gambling, more extraction, more recycled bullshit and a space that keeps rewarding regression while wondering why serious builders eventually leave.
