Basically, people are voluntarily installing a memecoin casino on their phones, expecting to get rich while the published snapshots show most participants either losing money or walking away with small gains.

I cannot understand how FOMO and Pumpfun occupy so much of this space while their users’ outcomes barely interrupt the shilling.

Unfolded’s September 7 FOMO snapshot reports that 95.2% lost money or made under $100 profit; just 229 of 375,740 cleared $10,000.

CoinGecko’s Pumpfun/PumpSwap data classified most wallets as losing in every month of 2025.

April 2026 was better: 73.28% were profitable, but only 5.37% made over $1,000. These are separate snapshots with different methods, not universal odds, and small profits are still profits.

What pisses me off is how relentlessly this casino gets sold as opportunity.

People arrive hoping to improve their finances and get encouraged to chase tokens because somebody with a following posted a winning screenshot.

A slick app does not make scam tokens legitimate, and a KOL’s entry tells you nothing about the price you will get or whether your buy becomes their exit liquidity.
