Seeker: hardware, distribution and the mobile access layer

Even though purely crypto related topics currently receive almost no reach on X, I want to come back to #Seeker for a moment because it represents something that is often talked about but rarely seen in practice: meaningful crypto adoption.

Seeker is not an ETF, not a custodial product from a centralized financial institution, and not another speculative vehicle designed for Wall Street.

I see the seeker as a consumer device that brings crypto capabilities directly into people’s hands through everyday use. Real adoption does not only happen through financial derivatives, but happens when technology becomes part of normal daily behavior.

At the end it is an Android phone, which means it is not a closed ecosystem.

It builds on infrastructure that billions of people already use. At the same time, it integrates native crypto functionality in a way that lowers the barrier for users who would otherwise never touch wallets, keys, or on chain applications.

That bridge between familiar mobile usage and decentralized technology is where actual growth can occur.

There is also room for criticism and realism;

A phone alone will not magically onboard the world to crypto. User experience, security, education, and real use cases still matter.

If these are not handled well, it risks becoming another niche device for enthusiasts. Adoption requires more than hardware. It requires thoughtful integration into how people already live and work.

This is why I consider projects like this worth supporting. They attempt to move crypto away from speculation and toward usability.

I simply appreciate when something genuinely useful is being built.

I am also not against individual chains. I am against the people who damage ecosystems through scams, greed, and short term thinking.

We should be able to point out what is good as well, not only what is broken.

We will bring our app to Seeker as well because this approach aligns with what we believe adoption should look like.

Not separation from existing systems, but a practical connection between the strengths of both worlds.

The hardware is so so and there is definitely room for improvement everywhere, but let’s see what they will make out of it. I think this is one of the few things that actually pushes crypto forward instead of harming it.

And yes, I would also like to be able to say something positive for once.

Whether it was really necessary to launch $SKR is another question. But I find the concept of the phone itself very worth supporting. Just imagine Samsung and others jumping on this train once it proves itself. I’m just saying…
